Wilderness School is a non‐denominational School for girls from Early Learning to Year 12 and boarding for students from Year 7 – 12. From this information a short list is compiled for interview. The short-listed applicants may be required to teach a demonstration lesson. It is a requirement that all applicants are registered or eligible for registration in South Australia, as well as possessing current training in Mandatory Notification and Basic Emergency Life Support or equivalent.
SCIENCE TEACHER - PHYSICS SPECIALIST
FULL-TIME PERMANENT POSITION COMMENCING 2018
Wilderness School requires an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative teacher to fill this permanent teaching position.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience in successfully teaching Physics to the highest standard and Science to Years 8-10. We are looking for an exemplary practitioner with the desire and the skills to engage girls in a curriculum that is exciting and challenges them.
The successful applicant will be conversant with the current trends in curriculum development both at state and national levels, and will also have teaching experience up to and including Year 12.
